Relatives of Calgary’s second murder victim of the year fear he might have been caught in a deadly love triangle.
Joel Zalsos had only arrived in the city a couple weeks ago from the Philippines, joining his wife, who has been living here for some time.
A cousin of the man found dead in a northwest home earlier this week says Zalsos had second thoughts about coming to Canada telling the Sun the couple had been fighting, but were trying to work things out.
Police are not releasing the cause of death.
They say Zalsos’ wife, who works as a nanny, found his body Tuesday.
