MRU could get express buses

There could soon be express buses headed to and from Mount Royal University.
City council will consider a plan on Wednesday that would see passengers ferried by express bus between the Heritage LRT platform and the future Westbrook station, passing through the MRU campus in the process.
Students’ Association President Robert Jones tells the Calgary Herald the rapid transit lines are a good idea, because service to the university is lousy outside of weekday daytime hours.
Mount Royal is the only major post-secondary institute in the city without LRT access.
