Items swiped from Military Museums

Someone has made off with irreplaceable Canadian war history.

More than 250 pieces of priceless memorabilia including medals, badges and even a bayonet have been stolen from the Military Museums in Calgary.

The Calgary Sun reports one man has been charged and 60 items recovered, but the rest may never be found.

The executive director of the museums says this affects the whole nation because the stolen memorabilia belongs to all of Canada.  He calls it very disheartening.
