Open house explores alien life forms

Alien life forms and the latest finds in extraterrestrial research were explored at an open house Saturday.
The event took place at the University of Calgary’s Rothney Astrophysical Observatory, which is just south of the Highway 22 and Highway 22-x interchange.
Dr. Phil Langill, the Observatory’s Director, led a presentation about a number of newly discovered planets orbiting distant stars that could possibly support life.
Langill also touched on a new life form found on earth deep in a California lake.
