Enmax looking to win back support of Calgarians

Enmax is appealing to Calgarians by taking out full page ads in both The Calgary Herald and The Calgary Sun, outlining its commitment to the city.

In it, the company shares its vision and “key components” of its strategy for moving forward.

That includes reducing emission and providing Albertans with “reliable, economical power for years to come.”

Tuesday’s letter comes on the same day Enmax’s shareholders are to meet, and in the wake of beleaguered CEO Gary Holden’s resignation.

Some aldermen say they still have questions about how the utility does business, including Diane Colley-Urquhart who tells The Herald she won’t let Enmax off the hook and it’s time for a strategic review of the company.
