MLA pushes for alcohol warning labels

A local MLA wants warning labels put on bottles of alcohol, similar to the ones used on cigarette packs.
Calgary-East member Moe Amery is expected to introduce a bill Monday that would require the move from liquor merchants.
The warnings would cover everything from the dangers of drinking while pregnant to the perils of drinking and driving.
Amery tells The Calgary Sun he thinks most people know that drinking and driving is dangerous, but it’s good to have an added reminder.
