Tourism Calgary is turning to the pros to help them show off the city’s local hot spots.
They’ve launched the “Capture WOW” Campaign, where Calgarians upload their best pictures and stories about the city onto Tourism Calgary’s website.
The group will then use the best photos of restaurants, parks, landscapes, nightclubs and other attractions to market the city to people across Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
Calgarians also have the chance to win prizes for their submissions.
The Calgary Herald reports Tourism Calgary wants people to broaden their perceptions about the city and know there is more to do here than just see the Rockies and the Stampede.
