Wanted Calgary man captured in Toronto

Police have captured a Calgary man who has been on the run for over a year.
Jimmy Minh Nguyen was taken into custody at a home in Toronto on St. Patrick’s Day.
The 20 year-old was wanted by police for allegedly assaulting a man at the Calgary Remand Centre in December of 2009.
Police had issued an arrest warrant for Nguyen in February of last year.
Officers say a tip from the public is what led to the arrest and the 20 year-old was taken into custody without incident.
