Flames playoff run officially over

After beating the Oiler’s 6-1 at the Saddledome and celebrating Captain Jarome Iginla’s one-thousandth point with the hockey club, their playoff hopes were officially killed by the out-of-town scoreboard.

Victories by Chicago and Anaheim made it impossible for the Flames to make the top eight in the Western Conference.
