Two convicted murderers in Calgary are appealing their convictions.
Less than a month after being found guilty of first degree murder in the death of Ray Johnson, both Tosha and Jason Hubler are challenging the ruling.
The elderly man’s body was found in a trunk dumped in one of the city’s industrial parks.
The couple was later arrested driving Johnson’s vehicle.
The Calgary Sun reports Jason filed his appeal Saturday, while Tosha appealed her life sentence two weeks after the trial ended.
