No injuries after northeast kitchen fire

A northeast condo suffered over $40,000 dollars worth of damage Monday night after a kitchen fire.
Crews were called to the 3000 block of 56th Street NE at around 7 p.m. and were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
As a precaution, a number of condo residents were briefly evacuated. There were no injuries and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
