Two local golf courses to open Monday

Some Calgarians may be looking longingly at their golf clubs this weekend wondering when they can hit the links.
There’s good news with two local courses opening on Monday, one is Silver Wing golf course on 34th Street and 48th Avenue in the northeast.
The other is Heather Glen in the city’s southeast on Glenmore Trail at the edge of the city limits.
Staff at both courses tell 660News, crews are taking advantage of this weekend’s warm weather prepping the links that offer spring conditions for Monday’s opening.
