New report indicates heavy oilsands spending

Oilsands spending could top $2-trillion in the next 25 years.
To put that number in perspective, that’s about a third more than the entire Canadian economy produces in a whole year.
The Canadian Energy Research Institute says that total is much higher than its 2009 forecast, which suggests Alberta’s recovery from the global recession is real.
