A man is critical condition after sustaining a gunshot wound.

Police are looking into an apparent shooting late Tuesday night.

Duty inspector Darren Cave tells 660News that around 10 pm, a man was dropped off at Rockyview General Hospital in critical condition with a gunshot wound.

Police believe someone dropped the man off at the hospital and would like to question anyone involved.

The man was later transferred to Foothills Hospital.

Police also say they still aren’t sure where the shooting took place and would like anyone with information to contact them.
