One of the biggest murder trials currently being tried in the United States continues in Orlando, Florida.
Casey Anthony faces a possible death penalty if convicted of killing her two year-old daughter Caylee in August of 2008.
The prosecution claims Casey wilfully and deliberately killed her daughter but the defence says it was an accident and the two year-old drowned in the pool and George Anthony, Casey’s father helped cover up the alleged accident.
This case has captured the attention of many after it was revealed that Casey continually lied to investigators.
On day nine of the Casey Anthony murder trial the prosecution played jail house tapes of Casey talking to her parents, George and Cindy Anthony.
During the video, Casey is adamant that the “nanny” took little Caylee.
The defence has since conceded that the “nanny” never really existed.
Casey is noticeably irritated with her mother Cindy, while praising George for being not only a good father but a good grandfather to two-year old Caylee.
The prosecution has accused George Anthony of covering up what they call “an accident”, saying little Caylee drowned in the pool and George helped his daughter dispose of the body.
