One person is dead, while three others are seriously injured after a car and Greyhound bus collided near Fernie B.C.
Cpl. Annie Linteau with the B.C. RCMP tells 660News the car crossed a double centre line and collided with the bus traveling west on Highway 3.
The crash happened around 4 a.m. Saturday morning. Seven people were on board the bus, which was headed for Creston.
A spokesperson for Greyhound, Maureen Richmond, says the bus driver was also injured in the crash, and was taken to hospital to be treated.
She says officials at the company are investigating the crash.
It’s not clear what caused the female driver to veer over the centre line.
