Police are dealing with yet another violent home invasion that has left a man in 20s in hospital in serious but stable condition.
It’s believed the victim was shot, but officers say it’s too soon to say for sure. The man’s injuries are consistent with gun shot wounds.
A second man was also home at the time but was not injured.
The incident happened early Wednesday morning at an apartment building in the 5300 block of Lakeview Drive Southwest.
This follows a violent home invasion on Tuesday that left a 50-year-old man dead and his wife in hospital with gunshot wounds.
Staff Sergeant Harv Davies says police are now looking for two suspects.
“The first suspect is a black male, possibly Sudanese, 6’2″ tall, with a slim build. He had short black hair and was wearing a black baseball cap and a black jacket. The second suspect is also believed to be Sudanese with a slim build. He’s about 6′ tall with a receding hairline. He was wearing a black and white bandana covering his face,” says Davies.
He adds neither of the victims are known to police and both are cooperating with the investigation.
