What’s open on Canada Day

Some changes are in place for the Canada Day holiday.
All city administrative buildings will be closed, and so will arenas and athletic parks with the exception of the Optimist and George Blunun arenas.
Also closed for the holiday are art centres, the Devonian Gardens, the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary, and aquatic and fitness centres.
Calgary Transit is operating on a Sunday schedule and there will be disruptions to some C-train service.
City landfills will be open until 5pm and there will be residential garbage and recycling pick up as usual.
Also flashing open signs today are Heritage Park, the Calgary Zoo, and city golf courses.
