Disaster Recovery Program registration centre opens

Help is coming for those in Calgary and the County of Rockyview whose properties were flooded during the severe weather at the end of May.

Residents, small businesses and not-for-profit organizations can get aid from the province to help with non-insurable damage caused by groundwater seepage and overland flooding.

In-person applications are being accepted Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Centre Street Church in the Northeast.

To have an application mailed, call 311.
