AHS investigates leaky building

Tenants living in a Bowness apartment building have gotten the attention of Alberta Health Services after complaining of leaks, mould and repairs that never seem to get done.
According to The Calgary Herald, one Glenbow Manor tenant even put his leg through the floor of his balcony in the 50-unit complex.
AHS spokesman Bruce Conway says they’ve had concerns about this building before, and they’ve sent inspectors to the site.
The owner, Mainstreet Equity Corp., says many of the problems stem from a leaky roof that couldn’t be fixed sooner due to bad weather, but it’s fixed now.
The company adds, it is working on repairing damaged suites.
