Samaritan’s Purse to help Goderich

Calgary-based Samaritan’s Purse is sending one of its specially-equipped disaster relief units to Goderich to help clean up after a tornado tore through the Ontario town on Sunday.

One person died, at least 37 were injured and dozens of homes and businesses were badly damaged or destroyed.

Employees are already in the disaster zone assessing the damage and starting to recruit volunteers to help clean up debris and install water-proof tarps over damaged roofs.
