Fire consumes six vehicles

An explosion woke up the residents of a southwest street Sunday morning.
Six vehicles were damaged or destroyed after a fire just before 3 a.m.
Firefighters were called out to reports of a building fire at 13th Ave and 12th Street S.W. but when they got there they discovered the fire was behind the building, in a parking lot.
The fire had broken out in a van and spread to five other vehicles, with an explosion in at least one of them.
No one was hurt.
Fire investigators are trying to determine a cause.
