Lulay leads Leos under open sky at BC Place

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Travis Lulay threw three touchdown passes and ran one in himself as the BC Lions knocked off the Edmonton Eskimos 33-24 in front of 50,213 fans under a domeless BC Place stadium.

Down 13-12 after a nervous first half, BC outscored the Eskimos 14-2 in the third quarter.

Andrew Harris gathered in two of Lulay’s touchdown tosses, including a thrilling 63-yard major near the end of the third quarter.

Wally Buono notched his 250th career win as a CFL Head Coach.

The Leos have won six straight games, heading into the October 8 contest at BC Place versus Calgary.
