Fire crews look for source of natural gas leak

Fire crews and Atco Gas are investigating a number of odour complaints in the northwest spanning from Arbour Lake to Scenic Acres.
The Fire Department’s Brian McAsey tells 660News, although it’s likely a natural gas leak, it poses no safety threat.
“It’s quite possible there’s been a break in the line somewhere, and it sounds like an exterior break. The wind might have played a factor in pushing it around a bit so many people have been able to detect it,” he says.
The Hazardous Materials team is trying to find the source.
