WestJet makes Top 100 employers

Calgary based WestJet is flying high after hearing the news they’ve been named one of Canada’s top 100 employers for 2012.
Ferio Pugliese with WestJet tells 660News it’s a big honour to be the only airline that made the grade.
“We have a strong belief here that WestJet we’re not a typical airline and we’re very much anchored on a great guest experience and that’s not possible unless you have a very engaged workforce.”
Pugliese says they’ve been working hard for several years to make the list and this is the culmination of a lot of hard work.
Their lowest grade was a B-minus in vacation and time-off which he says is disappointing and adds they’ll continue to work harder in that category.
