What’s the most walkable neighbourhood in Calgary?
It’s the inner-city neighbourhood of Cliff Bungalow.
That’s according to the Calgary Herald which used an on-line tool measuring the proximity of schools, parks and stores to come up with a ranking of all Calgary neighbourhoods.
In the Herald’s recent Project Calgary survey, 37 per cent of Calgarians said ideally they’d like to live in a neighbourhood in which they would be able to walk to work.
Behind Cliff Bungalow, Chinatown — and then Lower Mount Royal — round out the top three neighbourhoods in the newspaper’s rankings.
Getting the lowest score: Riverbend in the city’s southeast.
