A child remains missing after fire in Indus

The Rockyview District Fire Chief won’t confirm that a child under the age of 10 perished this morning in the house fire.
He will only say that a fifth person in the home is unaccounted for.
Rockyview District Fire Chief Garth Rable says when fire crews arrived about 14 minutes after the call came in at 4:00 a.m. on Friday, four people – two adults and two children were already outside the home and taken to a Calgary hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
All are listed in stable non-life threatening condition.
Rable says crews are going to remain on scene of this blaze for many hours to come adding the structure right now is to unstable for them to enter and try to figure out exactly what caused the fire.
