Ralph Klein leaving hospital

It appears former Premier Ralph Klein’s health is improving.
He will be released from Rockyview General Hospital in the coming days and will move into a continuing care facility.
Klein’s friend and former advisor Rod Love says he seems to be doing better.
“Colleen was up there on Sunday and said he had a pretty good day. She was up there for awhile and they had a good chat. He’s obviously in better shape than when he went into the hospital a couple of weeks ago,” Love said.
Klein was admitted into hospital with respiratory problems. He also has dementia.
It’s hoped he will be able to return home after a transition period in continuing care.
The man many called “King Ralph” served as Alberta Premier from 1992 to 2006, and was Calgary’s Mayor from 1980 until 1989.
