Police ask for public’s help in locating missing man

Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for a missing Fort St. James man who may be in the Calgary area.
34 year old Martin Lee Murdock was last seen near the Stuart River near the B.C. community last Thursday.
“We started a pretty large search here, using RCMP plane, helicopter as well as local search and rescue,” RCMP Corporal Greg Ridl tells 660News, adding originally it was believed the 34 year old First Nation’s man was swept down the river. (We) “searched the area for a couple of days with no success.”
Ridl says since then unconfirmed reports have placed Murdock in Prince George and then the Calgary area.
Murdock wears glasses, is about six feet, 170 pounds with short black hair and a stubble beard.
Anyone with information on Murdock should call RCMP.
