The costs are mounting for the west LRT project.
The Calgary Herald reports spending on land acquisitions could hit $200-million if some legal disputes go against the city.
Alderman Dale Hodges tells the paper it’s the most expensive capital project ever taken on in Calgary.
The city bought and expropriated some 50 homes, businesses and other properties.
The paper says the overall West LRT project could end up costing $1.4-billion.
