Deficit Elimination delay not expected to hurt Harper Tories

A well respected Canadian political scientist says most people don’t care if the Federal government has to push back it’s date to balance the books.
Nelson Wiseman says with the next federal election just under four years away, the Tories have plenty of time to turn things around.
However, Wiseman says he does find it fascinating how the Tories take credit for everything when times are good and yet are quick to blame others when things sour.
He points out Prime Minister Stephen Harper pounded the Liberals a few years ago for underestimating surpluses, and now the Parliamentary budget officer is accusing the government of underestimating its deficits.
