Downtown C-Train resumes after lengthy delay

As the clean-up continues following Sunday’s wind storm, the city of Calgary has resumed transit along the LRT lines downtown just in time to get evening commuters home.
The delay lasted 24 hours as crews were getting things restored.
The 3rd St. Southwest platform remains closed. Shuttles will pick up passengers from that station. Also 7th Ave. between 2nd and 3rd St. is blocked off to pedestrian traffic while repairs are made on an adjacent building.
As the clean-up around the city continues, Calgarians are being reminded to report any unsafe situations such as downed power lines or trees.
