Consumer confidence down in Canada

Consumer confidence is down in Canada.

The Harris/Decima – Investors Group Consumer Confidence index dropped to 72.6 in the fourth quarter, down from 77.5 in August, in large part due to concerns about the long-term health of the economy.

The poll showed only 12 per cent of Canadians believe the country’s economy will improve over the next year, but 32 per cent feel things will get worse.
