Final instructions in the Leinen trial

The judge gives final instructions Wednesday before the jury begins deliberating at the trail of a Calgary man charged in a deadly hit and run outside an Olds bar.

In final arguments Tuesday, the Crown threw cold water on Jeffrey Leinen’s claim he drove his truck into a crowd of people out of fear.

Instead, the Crown argued Leinen was angry after being kicked out of the establishment.

Eighteen-year-old Nicholas Baier was killed.

Leinen has pleaded not guilty to second degree murder.
