Albertans have been busy eating out.
According to Statistics Canada, October sales for the “Food Services and Drinking Places” industry were 8.4 per cent higher in October compared with last year.
That was the second-highest rate of growth in the country.
Sales increased in the full-service and limited-service restaurant sector.
Newfoundland and Labrador had the highest growth rate.
