Christmas Day skating at Bowness Park

The Christmas Day weather is perfect for family skate.
The only outdoor rink maintained by the city that’s open is at Bowness Park.
Erika Heres, manager of the Parkside Cafe, tells 660News plenty of people will be taking advantage of the weather and the little extras.
“There are two fireplaces on the ice,” she says. “There are also a couple of benches so you can toast marshmallows.”
Skating on the rink goes until 11 p.m. Sunday night with skate rentals up until 4 p.m.
