BMO Financial is reminding people that time is running out to take advantage of 2011 tax savings.
December 31st is the last day to contribute to certain registered plans and make charitable or political donations for the year.
BMO says waiting until the new year to start thinking about taxes is often too late.
People are being encouraged to contact their financial advisor or visit their bank in the next couple of days to find out more about ways to reduce their tax bill.
