AB budget delivered next month

Alison Redford’s government will deliver its election year budget on February 9, two days after the spring sitting begins.
Premier Redford made the announcement on Twitter Friday.
The spending document is expected to be a key battleground in the upcoming provincial election, which by law, must be held in March, April or May.
The Wildrose Party has said the budget will show if Redford is a true fiscal conservative or a spender like former premier Ed Stelmach.
The budget is expected to run a fifth consecutive deficit, though Redford has promised to balance spending with revenues by 2014.
