Calgarians are getting frustrated with the amount elected officials are getting paid.
City residents fork-over $16.4-million annually to pay for the services of aldermen, school trustees, MLA’s and MP’s.
That breaks down to just under $15 a year per person.
Some Calgarians tell The Calgary Sun they think elected officials make too much for what they accomplish, and it’s unfair that provincial and federal politicians earn a pension after only a few years in office.
