Alberta’s premier in The Big Apple

Premier Alison Redford continues her American tour promoting the oilsands Thursday.

She’s in New York City, where she will meet with the Council on Foreign Relations and then deliver the keynote address at the FirstEnergy East Coast Energy Conference.

Redford celebrated her 47th birthday in Washington Wednesday by telling a breakfast audience the campaign against the Keystone XL Pipeline is tainted with “misleading and false information.”

She continues to deliver the message that oilsands producers are making great progress on environmental technologies, and they aren’t as “dirty” as environmentalists claim.
