Wind causes closures for downtown morning commute

The wind is being blamed for blowing lose a piece of metal that has hit two cars, forcing the closure of a downtown street.
The street will be closed overnight until 10am Wednesday.
Yellow caution tape is blocking off 8th avenue between 6th and 7th streets to cars and pedestrians while the fire department investigates what happened.
Also 6th Street between 7th and 9th Avenues is closed
The debris blew off the Husky building in the 700 block of 7 Ave south west.
There have been no reports of injuries.
