YYC most visited cities

Plenty people are coming to Calgary for business reasons.

Travel and expense software marker Concur, found Calgary is one of the world’s 25 most visited cities.

Mike Hilton, Executive VP of World Wide Marketing, says there are number of reasons Calgary is seeing an influx of professional visitors.

“Obviously a city that is going through a lot of rapid growth, there are certain industries, certainly oil and gas is a booming industry in Calgary. It’s a city on the rise in terms of being destinations for business travelers,” said Hilton.

Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver and Mississauga also made the list.
