Two dogs are dead following a fire at a Saddle Ridge home.
Fire crews were called to the 100 block of Saddleback Road N.E. by the homeowner around 2:30 a.m. Thursday.
The owner returned home to find fire damage to the upstairs floor of the home, though the flames appeared to self-extinguish before fire crews arrived.
Other than the dogs, no injuries were sustained. The cause is under investigation.
