Tree clearing mystery closer to being solved

The Britannia tree-caper is a few steps closer to being solved.
By-law boss Bill Bruce says they received more tips Tuesday about who may have cut down a grove of trees along Britannia Drive a couple weeks ago.
Bruce notes bits of information continue to trickle in.
“If you get lucky, you get that one witness that saw everything and was able to secure a license number and names; if you don’t, then you pick a little crumb here, little crumb there and then they have to put all that together and out of that pops your answer,” says Bruce.
Bruce pledges to throw ‘everything’ at whoever is responsible for cutting down the mature trees.
