Betty’s Run for ALS

This years ambassador for Betty’s Run for ALS wants people to understand how important this fundraiser is.

Shelagh Mikulak says not only is money raised for research but awareness is raised as well.

And she wants everyone to know just how ALS changed her life.

“I’d like people to know that ALS is a horrific disease that affects the same number of people as MS, but the problem is we die off a lot sooner,” said Mikulak.  “I can no longer walk, I can no longer move my arms.”

Betty’s Run for ALS is June 10th at North Glenmore Park.
