New charges for Calgary predator

A former Calgary courthouse security guard facing dozens of child sex-related allegations is back behind bars.

Daniel Mackie was arrested in February and charged with 77 offences, including making and distributing child pornography, child luring and invitation to sexual touching.

The 25-year-old was arrested June 28 and charged with two counts of breaching the conditions of his previous release, along with luring allegations.

According to The Calgary Sun, Mackie will remain in custody pending a bail hearing and returns to court Monday.
