Calgary boy recovers in NYC

An 8-year-old Calgary boy is recovering from a ground-breaking procedure for cancer in New York.
Jordan Feradi has a brain stem tumour.
He’s the third of about a dozen children accepted for treatment that targets the tumour by injecting a radioactive agent directly into the site.
His dad, John, tells the Calgary Sun, Jordan is out of hospital and recuperating at a nearby Ronald McDonald House.
While it might take a while to see any results, he says the operation has been deemed a success.
John flew home Sunday to take his younger son to see Jordan and hopes the family can see some of the sights of the Big Apple.
