Friend wishes he could have saved man in Ghost Lake

A friend of the man who died after jumping off a bridge at Ghost Lake over the weekend says he wishes there was something else he could have done to help.
Kyle Phillips tells The Calgary Sun Chris Smallwood was a nice guy who could always cheer people up.
Philips was the last to jump off the bridge Sunday and says he keeps playing the ordeal over and over in his head, wishing he could wake up from this “bad dream.”
Smallwood was pulled to the shore after he struggled to above the water; he was pronounced dead on the scene.
