Nation-Wide Warrants issued for Martindale shooting suspect

Canada-wide warrants are out for a 52-year-old Calgary man in connection with a Martindale shooting early Monday morning.
Nihad Abdullah Ibrahim is wanted by Calgary police for allegedly shooting his 58-year-old common law wife in the stomach and legs just before 1:00 a.m. Monday.
The suspect and victim were in a common-law relationship for about six years until earlier this month when he was ordered not to have any contact with the alleged victim who is listed in stable condition in hospital.
Ibrahim is being sought on warrants for attempted murder, aggravated assault, discharging a firearm with intent, pointing a firearm, assault with a weapon, break and enter, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and failing to comply.
He is described as 5′ 9” tall, 180 pounds with a medium build, has brown hair and brown eyes.
Police are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers.
