Duncan McRae honoured at skateboarding competition

Tributes continue to flow in for a Calgary boy killed in a longboarding accident in Millrise earlier this week.
Those taking part in a massive skateboarding competition at C-O-P this weekend are honouring 13 year old Duncan McRae.
He died Tuesday, after falling and hitting a wire fence.
The Gravity Sports Association Downhill Skateboarding World Championships is paying tribute to McRae.
Co-owner and event manager Chad Hason says the mood is darker this year.
“I can tell you that a lot of people whether they planned to be here or not are showing support for Duncan. We’ve seen stickers, we’ve seen T-shirts, we’ve heard conversations and what not, we think it’s going to be packed. I think the tone of the people here might be different,” said Hason.
A memorial is planned for Duncan on Sunday at 1:30p.m. at C.O.P.
